And we're back!

Good Tuesday everyone!

We're finally back up and writing on this here fine and dandy blog. We have been up to so much in the past few… well, we've been busy! Our photography has grown in so many aspects and we're extremely happy to share some of our accomplishments with you.

We were published in Chicago Style Weddings Magazine, in their 25th anniversary edition which was amazing! (bottom left image)

We were also doing shoots in NYC during the summer, for the guys of Rebel Diaz who are an activist Hip-Hop group based out of The Bronx NY and originally from Chicago.

 We also shot for the awesome Emilio Rojas while we were there and it was great to work with him!

We have also worked for some Chicago based artists such as Villains Company and Jdott Trife

Well, you get the point, we have been working! which makes us extremely happy! 

We'll be posting on more regular basis from this point on and remember, we very much appreciate your comments!

So...

Hello everyone!

We perfectly know it has been a long time (too long) since our last post. There are more than a few reasons why. To name a few we can start with BUSY-NESS! Our work has kept us on our TOES! and we love it! One of the things we always seek for in life is work, along with health. Work provides everything in life and if you're healthy then you can work even more! We don't want anything given to us, we want to earn what we want and receive what we deserve. Another reason has been topics. We want to make sure we write topics of interest, things that we come across on regular basis that affect our lives positively and negatively and believe it or not those are sort of hard to come across when you write a blog. We definitely do NOT want to write about Jersey Shore to keep you interested in our posts! =] We want to write about things that affect YOU as much as they affect us. We all have needs and situations that make life more... "interesting" to say the least. With all this being said, we're very much excited to be back! We have been through so much in the last couple of months! Work has been SO VERY MUCH exciting! We have been published again, The Reader, a Chicago weekly paper did a note on "I Can Hear Myself Levitate" a rock band we did a photoshoot on a couple of months ago and one of our shots was the main image on the page. VERY VERY EXCITING! We also got hired to shoot in NY and Miami, we've shot for rap artists local and from NY as well and many more, which makes us even happier! And there's even more in the horizon! We'll keep you posted!

We have also learned a lot along the way, we have learned that no matter what unfortunate situations we se ourselves in, we must keep moving forward, no point on getting stuck and reverse it's not even an option. We look forward to bringing you more news and things to discuss. We really really really look forward to your feedback and comments cause they are very important to us.

PROGRESS

Hello and happy new year everyone!

We know it has been quite a while since we last posted on this here fine and dandy blog. Well, it's time to get back into it and update you all on things we've done since then. 2011 was an incredible year for Knapp Photography; we worked with amazing people, had amazing projects and created beautiful images that we are so very proud of. We made amazing friends as well whom we love dearly and have become part of our lives. Overall, 2011 was a year of PROGRESS. We continued learning the art of photography, we gained tons of knowledge and experience and we grew TREMENDOUSLY as a company. We'd like to thank every single person that we worked with and that has been part of Knapp Photography one way or another this past year and we look forward to a new year of even more work and health surrounded by those that have been there for us and the new people that will be part of Knapp Photography in 2012.

We were able to accomplish quite a few things in 2011. We were published in a few magazines and newspapers, different blogs and websites and even in a magazine in the UK. We collaborated with amazing people and designers, traveled to NY and Miami to work and covered some of the best events of the year. We even had our very first Holiday party.

Once again, a very special THANK YOU to all of those that have been part of this amazing journey throughout 2011.
