Earth Day
Hello everyone!
What does Earth Day mean to you? Does it really make a difference in your week/life? When was the last time you cared about your surroundings and this planet we live on? There is way to much to cover under this subject yet the importance of this day is very basic. We need to start caring more about how we treat Earth weather we want to or not. Every single one of us is responsible for the damage we've caused and it's time we take some type of initiative to make it better, it's that simple. Let's all find a way to help.
We have been on the move at Knapp Photography! We have covered and attended some very important events such as Hair Wars and Story From A New Friend featuring Angela Rose from PAVE which is something we'll talk more about on our next blog entry. We're also excited to announce that we are now the official photography team for Kevin Conroy Smith His vision and projects are so powerful and we are honored to be part of it. Check out his website to see for yourself the great person he his along with his entire team.
It's been a great week and now we're lining up for the weekend ready for new projects. We wish all of a fun and safe weekend. Don't forget to be nice to others, love the ones who love you and to tip the valet parking guy. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this here CARING blog and hope to read your comments.

P.S. Take a look at some of the images from yesterday's event.

What did you achieve?
Hello everyone!
Goals and achievements are an amazing thing as long as they're positive. So at the end of every week we should take a moment and think about what goals we set out to achieve this week, be happy for the ones we've succeeded on and find the reason why we couldn't reach the rest. If you find out you've achieved all of them, then that is PHENOMENAL and you should hug yourself! This week, as every week, we set out to write this here HANDY blog which at times becomes VERY difficult to do because of many reasons. But this week we made it! Three entries in the week! We also got caught up with editing, we have new clients and have managed to set more goals for next week. So we ask you FINE AND DANDY people, what goals did you set for yourself this week? Which did you accomplish and which couldn't be accomplished? SHARE WITH US! It's an amazing thing to set short term goals for ourselves. It keeps us motivated, gives us something to look forward to and makes us feel ACCOMPLISHED once they're done. It also helps us get closer to our long term goals, makes life easier and makes us happy. GIVE IT A TRY, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.
Knapp Photography has become the official photographer for Beau Ideal which is quite an honor. There are many major events coming from CEO Ken Patrick and everyone involved that will blow your mind! Like their page and stay tuned! Our high fashion series of photo shoots are coming starting next week as well. We'll update you on the details and progress through this here INFORMATIVE blog.
We wish you all a very happy weekend and enjoy each and every single day. Live a full and happy life and be safe.

Ignore and move on
Hello Everyone!
We encounter some situations on daily basis that makes us mad, uncomfortable, sad, stressed, etc. provoked by individuals that we don't know or are not part of our lives. How we deal with them is what will actually matter in the end. We can choose to get stuck in the moment or move on and not let those situations affect our mood and state of mind. We can make an immediate or almost immediate decision to just let it go and realize it's not worth paying any attention and not give them the satisfaction to know they got to us. It's understandable (as always) that sometimes it's almost impossible to not stand up for yourself and not let someone else step all over you. But if you know that once that particular moment is gone your life will be the way it was before it happened, then the better choice is to IGNORE AND MOVE ON. Remember, when someone goes out of their way to bother you, they're the ones with the issue, not you.

Appreciation
Hello everyone!
One of the biggest things we forget to do in our daily life is to be appreciative. You may think you are because you appreciate your job, your family, etc. and that's GREAT. But how about all the other things we forget to appreciate that are vital in our life. What about appreciating the simplest things such as waking up every morning, our HEALTH, the clothes on our back, the food on our table, the roof over our heads. We get so caught up complaining about what we DON'T have that we completely and entirely forget to be appreciative of what we DO. We'd like to remind you that we must appreciate the essentials of life because we are VERY FORTUNATE to have them. There are MILLIONS of people that don't and we don't have to go far to see that. I'm sure we all know someone or maybe even a relative that's sick, homeless, poor, etc. Yet we spend our lives wishing we had more money, a bigger house, a nicer car; wishing we looked better, had nicer hair, etc., and that's fine. We should dream and have goals as well. BUT let's not forget about the things that matter and be APPRECIATE the fact we DO HAVE THEM.
We have been working hard these past few days. We had an amazing photo shoot with Nicole Barrera and once again she did an outstanding job! Her modeling skills have improved tremendously and it shows in the images. Yoly Gomez from Rockstar Faces rocked our faces with her amazing make up skills and we ended up with FAWESOMENESS. We also had the pleasure to cover the AMAZINGLY well organized PANDORA'S BOX fashion show on Saturday and we got excellent shots! Thanks Ken Patrick (Beau Ideal) for choosing us to cover your event.
We hope you have an amazing week and have the chance to improve yourself each and every day. We wish you health and happiness over all.

Apology and Forgiveness
Hello everyone!
It's human nature; we all make mistakes. We hurt others and others hurt US. Sometimes, the same person hurts us repeatedly and we do nothing about it. Sometimes the mistakes WE make are even worse and hurt others more than what has been done to us. Other times, we take things too seriously and feel hurt over nothing due to how sensitive we are. We even hurt the ones WE LOVE and get hurt by them as well. Where is the sense in that? Well, the first thing we need to realize is that WE'RE NOT PERFECT. No one is. The ones who consider themselves perfect, we need to stay away from. The biggest mistakes or the worst ways to add salt to the wound is by not admitting to our mistakes, to be cold enough to not realize we've hurt others, and think it's ok to do it. To hide behind the excuse that we didn't mean to. Yes, it's very easy to hurt someone without intention, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't admit to it. Then comes the most important elements of making mistakes and hurting others or being hurt. They're called APOLOGY AND FORGIVENESS. Very few people in this world posses the wisdom of admitting to their mistakes and apologize for them and even fewer are kind enough to SINCERELY accept an apology and move on. We sometimes are too angry, ashamed or even scared to either apologize or forgive the ones we've hurt or the ones that have hurt us. But what we should realize is that we can become a better person ourselves by doing the right thing. It's one of the hardest, yet powerful things to do in life. When you apologize for your mistakes, you're not only admitting to being wrong, but you're telling the person you've hurt that you CARE. That in your heart and mind there's kindness, that that you want to show it to them, and also that you're human enough to realize what you have done and offer the simplest yet most powerful way to make it better. On the other hand, when you forgive, you're liberating yourself from the pain. You understand that it's something that NO MATTER WHAT you say or do, it's been done and only letting go and forgiving the person that hurt you will be the best way to move on. We do understand that some things just can't be forgiven. As a matter of fact, we know a lot of them can't. We're not blind to see that with an apology won't change what has been done. But it will LIBERATE you from the anger you feel towards the person that hurt you and allow you or make it easier to move on with your life. Forgiveness should only be given when it comes from the heart; when you know you actually feel it. You can't forgive someone and then make them feel horrible for what they've done every chance you get and throw it on their face whenever you feel like. Forgiveness must come from the heart and it should be given when you know in your mind you're ready to do so.
Remember, we're not perfect; we are human. We all have at some point in our lives hurt or been hurt and hopefully, we all have apologized and forgave as well.
Knapp Photography is EXTREMELY HAPPY to have friended such FAWESOME people! A lot of them have come into our lives in recent months and can sincerely say that we very much appreciate them all. We have collaborated and worked with true TALENT and the results have been FAMAZING! We shot another line of sexyness from Angel Eyes Designs this past weekend and WOW! It was once again a FANTABULOUS collaboration! Catherine Ivette rocked it with her modeling, Wonder Woman Analise Ojeda worked her wonder woman powers and HOLY MOLE came up with WOW hair and make up. Jay Noriega also showed up and rocked along with Catherine. It was a great time as always. On Monday morning we worked with beautiful Carly Rose who is a blast to work with, full of energy and good vibe. Rachel Uskert worked her magic with hair and make up and we also ended up with PHENOMENAL images and in the evening we did an editorial/advertisement shoot for Sugar Bliss cake boutique with Chicago Fashion Gossip founder and beautiful model Michelle Echeverria, always nice and smiling Kate Johnson worked the hair make up and styling, and we ended up with WONDERFUL images! We hope the folks at Sugar Bliss like them as much as we do. We all brought something to the table and it truly shows in the finish product.
We also reached 300 likes on our FB page in a little over 2 months and we would like to thank our supporters! We hope you tell your friends and we can make it to 100,000 in no time! Yes, we are ambitious!
We thank you very much for taking the time to read this here FULL OF LIFE blog and hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoy writing it. Don't forget to be kind to others, live life happy and eat your greens.
